Fujeirah UAE

2010

Summer in the Uae gets really hot and rain is no option. Days go up to 56degrees/133 Fahrenheit so the beach automatically becomes the ultimate travel spot. I was working for a dutch restaurant back then and every off day i would go somewhere i have not been before. this happened to be a really special day as it was the first time i left Dubai. We decided to go on a roadtrip to a little town hidden between mountains and the Arabian Gulf called Fujeirah. First came a little sight seeing through the city, followed by some chinese noodles in its only mall, and ultimately the beach. This beach really was something different as the sand was pitch black, and the water color was effected in quite a beautiful way. looking to the left the ocean and the mountains become one as they dissapear into the horizon.First we enjoyed the swimming and as sunset was coming, out came the camera... some amazing pictures were taken, but this was my favorite... im sure its not to hard to guess why.

well it got dark and we needed to get back to the bus terminals....but no cab would allow our wet butts in...so we ended up walking for quite a bit untill we got drie. we made it and went home...dressed up and ended the night with a legendary bang back at rock bottom... next day ar work.... general hangover and sleepy eyes... gotta love morning shift...

Burj al Arab

9 Days before it  ended.

I have recently applied for my visa cancellation in order to go home and prepare for my next adventure. so i set up a 10 day plan to tour to some of my favorite destinations around Dubai... On day 2 i decided to head out to the place i love the most of all... Souk Madinat. A souk is an Arabic translation for a Market place and this Souk is a really classy marketplace located in Jumeirah, witch represents most of the coastline of Dubai. I will get to it in future as ill be posting some pictures of it all. So after the Souk me and Carson( a friend from the Phillipines) headed out towards Burj al Arab to take a few photos and as usual, i wanted to do something a little different, so I took hold of the bars as it was my intention to make it look lile im holding it... well it really wasn't to easy as every few seconds a car would come... and as the only view you can really get that clear, is standing in the middle of the road, you have to get out of it everytime cars came, and positioning the hands... wow it was really hard to get it right and this is as close as i did get. When i see how many people come there taking photos with the burj al arab in the background and think of it happening everyday, i almost start to feel a bit of jealousy. this building has been millions of people's facebook profile picture i'm very sure!

this night we went to enjoy some butter chicken, a delicious Indian Cuisine, and then later we made our way to Rock Bottom, Dubais best club! and i found out I was not allowed there no more. Apparently i caused alota trouble the last time i went there and earned my self a 6 month ban... and not only there, but two other clubs i went to that same night... Haha i wish i could remember the day i caused so much havok in dubai!

flyin to Cape town, South Africa tonight. An awesome adventure awaits!!

my 10 Favorite destinations in Dubai

Today i open my first blog to the world, welcome!

2011: May 21st
Destination: Dubai

14 months later... It's almost time to pack up and go home. Visa cancelation, Packing, Flight Booking, Sayng Fare well to all my friends, and Living the Adventures one last time had been giving me one hell of a last month. Nothing was working out as time seemed limited, so i did something you'll never hear me do... Scedulize! I have never been one for planning ahead on any type of occasion whether it be dating, traveling, shopping, or even working. But it had never been much of a problem as last minute planning has always been a specialty. but I had to do this right as this will probably be the last time i'll ever visit Dubai (Unless they actually built the Nakheel Tower), therefor I had to make certain i do visit those places I will miss the most one last time. My method was to device a plan to create my top 10 Attractions of my personal oppinion!

DAY 1: A visit to palm Jumeirah, and the atlantis.

Palm Jumeirah

Atlantis
Unfortunitly i cannot upload my own images, the cpu is not allowing me, so for now i;m using images uploaded by the web untill i am able to solve this problem.

The palm Jumeirah is theWorld's Largest completed man made island, constructed off the coast of Knowledge Village designed largely for tourists as well as residential units. There are many attractions to blow the mind from the lost city of Atlantis, a 5 star Hotel on the beach with a beautiful crazy themed water park and dolphin-arium, to some classy shopping venues and really nice returaunts, to some really inn clubs, such as Sanctuary and Nasimi Beach. there are 3 means of transportation namely car, cab or a mono rail... A train that takes you to Atlantis and back. Enjoying this location is pricey, so come prepared.
Days spent with an Indian friend, a filipino and a Sri lankan

DAY 2: Pesonally my favorite location in all of Dubai: Souk Madinat, and Burj al Arab

sOUK MADINAT

Amazing clubs... 5 star shopping... and the most beautiful rotana hotel in the entire middle east...its a not miss legendary location to put on your been there list! and its right next to the burj al arab... world famous 7 star hotel built 100m into the ocean. Soft noance colors an artist would find inspirational... its also the world's Highest 5star or more hotel. Awesome days spent with two of my best friends... a South African, and a filipino
